WICKED
"WICKED," continues to be the magical musical of the year! If you thought you knew the story of he WIZARD OF OZ, think again! How did Glinda, the "Good Witch," and Elpheba, the "Wicked Witch," of the West first meet? After three years and 50 sold out motor coach trips, we are still taking theatre enthusiasts to find out the answer to that question! Wicked is scheduled to end its run in Chicago on January 25, 2009 - Don't miss this wonderful theatre show! Here are our final show dates:

Saturday, January 24 - $145 each - this is our final trip before "Wicked" leaves Chicago on Sunday, January 25th, 2009.

DIRTY DANCING
Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story On Stage is a coming of age love story involving the talented and headstrong dancer Johnny Castle and Frances “Baby” Houseman. During her family’s summer vacation at the popular Kellerman’s resort, Baby, a doctor’s daughter with dreams of joining the Peace Corps, meets Johnny, the guy from the wrong side of the tracks. Against all odds, they fall in love, learning life-changing lessons along the way. Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story On Stage, follows the highs and lows of their summer romance. The original story of Dirty Dancing has been expanded for the stage. While keeping magical moments from the film, in the theater, Baby and Johnny’s relationship is developed further; there is more sensational dancing; and, more music, joining favorite songs like the Academy Award-winning “(I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life,” “Hungry Eyes,” “Hey Baby” and “Do You Love Me?”

The Hilarious Celebration of Women and The Change!
 

“Menopause, the Musical,” Thursday, March 26, 2009 

North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Skokie, IL. is the setting for this comedy musical following four women at a lingerie sale with nothing in common but a black-lace bra AND memory loss, hot flashes, night sweats, not enough sex, too much sex and more!  A parody set to 25 classic baby-boomer songs from “Puff, My God I’m Draggin” to the disco favorite “Stayin’ Awake, Stayin’ Awake” will have you cheering and dancing in the aisles!  Kick up your heels and join the fun!  Time for lunch and shopping before the show at Westfield, Old Orchard Mall.  We depart the Highcrest Centre at 9:00 am; drop off at Old Orchard Mall for lunch and shopping (on you); show starts at 2:00 pm; and we should be home by 6:00 pm - Cost for the musical and transportation is $80 each.

"Xanadu," Drury Lane Theatre in Watertower Place, Chicago

Put a bunch of smash pop songs, the Tony Award nominee Douglas Carter Beane and the cutest couple in town into a Broadway blender, and what do you get?  A roller-skating, disco-dancing, glow-stick-waving smash-hit musical!  Taking audiences back to 1980 California, this hilarious new musical follows the beautiful Kira, who travels to earth to inspire a struggling young artist named Sonny.  A vision in leg warmers and wind-swept hair, she helps this hunky painter find his voice, discover true love and build the world's first roller disco.  It's lots of fun - and great fun for families!  We leave the Highcrest Centre at 9:00 am; drop you off at Rush & Superior, one block over from Michigan Ave., for lunch and shopping.  The show is at 2:00 pm;  after the show we do a shuttle service to various restaurants for dinner.  We arrive back in Rockford about 9:00 pm.
